Jamie Paratore is a visual artist and mother who loves photography, music, and cats. She uses traditional, digital, and alternative-process photography to explore the magic and the mundane in our everyday lives. Much of her work is made in collaboration with her young daughter on a quest to reawaken a sense of play while letting go of toxic perfectionism and self-imposed restraints.
Jamie has a BA in Sociology from San Francisco State University and an AA in Photography from Cabrillo College. Her work has been featured in exhibitions at the Cabrillo Gallery, the Center for Photographic Art, the Monterey Museum of Art, and Pajaro Valley Arts.
